fixing electronics is more fun than buying them
what it says on the tin. i've been having a blast opening up bad electronics (a damaged motog8 for example) and fixing them to the best of my abilities. or right now i'm seeing if i can recovered a microphone that might have moisture trapped inside. i also changed the screen for my switch lite.
cuz like i'm sorry, who the hell said we can't? you don't know if you're good at electronics if you've not tried it. have i messed up? tons. but they're my own broken things and i don't feel bad about messing up eheheh
i don't have a lot of equipment, but a set of small screwdrivers, some plastic prying tools and a cheap heatgun have so far been all i need. soldering is a bit out of my skill level; after all it's been years since i've done it. thinking about getting back into it. maybe practice with a dead board.
